Locate and resolve problems in your SharePoint Framework project

We periodically come across issues when developing apps with JavaScript. It could be due to mismatched dependencies or a missing or wrongly specified piece of setup. If we're lucky, the error message will be straightforward. However, this isn't always the case, and we're left unsure of what to do next, squandering valuable time.

It's no different when it comes to developing apps with SharePoint Framework. There are a few best practices we must adhere to in order for our project to progress and the app we design to be as quick as possible. It may seem insignificant, but there's a lot to consider while working with different projects built with different versions of SharePoint Framework.

We updated CLI for Microsoft 365 with a command that helps you detect and fix issues in your SharePoint Framework project, in collaboration with SharePoint Framework engineering and a few other Microsoft teams, to help you spend less time addressing bugs and more time building your app.
